the best polo for this CNY

After a day of receiving guests, I realised that men had very few choices for new year clothes in Singapore. Thanks to the humid weather, they either choose a new polo tee or a thin striped business shirt for the festive season. Fret not, guys. You can still be stylish with Fred Perry :)

Besides noses, I have a fetish for collars. Heres my favourite Fred Perry Small Collar Polo Shirt. The small 1-inch tipped collar is a twist to their original polo. Personally I think small collars might not work for those with long necks.

The Fred Perry Odd Panel Shirt. With a black front, navy blue back, one grey and one black tipped sleeve, who says a polo shirt is too boring for the new year?

The yellow Laurel makes a stark contrast with the black front.
A tinge of red at the collar brightens up the look at a glance. Note the button holes.

Check out the turquoise and green stitch details at the seams! Togther with the button holes they make perfect harmony with the dark primary colours.

The Fred Perry Japanese Polo Shirt. This 'Made in Japan' edition has a cut slightly smaller than the original polo shirts. The shorter and neater sleeves also fits Asian males better I think.

Inspired by the early Fred Perry polo, this edition stays true to 3 button yoke and unbranded buttons. The Laurel is also smaller than the standard polo.

It seems like theres no excuse to be un-stylish this new year huh? Have a smashing great celebration, everyone!
