My internship started 2 weeks ago and it wasn't enjoyable initially. Im sure I had disturbed most of my friends via sms during office hours, complaining about it and asking people to meet me for lunch.

Sorry dudes, Im gonna take back my words.

Im beginning to love this small firm after this week of hell. For the entire week, my colleagues and I were busy preparing for the upcoming presentation on the Tanjong Pagar CC Upgrading project. No more boring cadding for me and hell became heaven when I was brought down to the site and was entrusted to do some photoshop!

In the mid-week, heaven becomes playground when I was assigned to the "business side of architecture". I had to ring up suppliers, meet them and negotiate deals. Basically, I was doing sales and I secretly think that im naturally inclined in this area =X

The last two days was spent with immense amount of stress to do a landscape design, redesigning the existing plaques and design new signages for the CC. OT was unavoidable but I enjoyed every second of it, especially when Mr.Boss was pleased with my work.

Indeed, it was a right choice to intern in a small firm because, like what everyone had told me, you tend to learn more in a smaller firm. Furthermore, im working in my dream house typology - the shophouse! =D



4/5 of the evenings this week was spent doing telemarketing for GE. I know I sounded hard up but I really am! HAHAHA! Currently leading my life as a 宅女, I do nothing but go to work and go home for TV in the weekdays! Sorry friends, I have learnt to say NO to shopping and chillings!

Oh by the way, if you have ch173, I strongly recommend these korean variety shows - Chit Chat with Beautiful ladies and 2D1N!! The first one amazed me with foreign ladies from Italy, China, UK etc speaking FLUENT Korean, while the second one IS GODDAMN FUNNY! I BURST OUT LAUGHING every night while my family is asleep!
