can we all stop running for a day?

i surf net i download america's next top model i blog i eat i sleep i watch tv but i refused to open the cad file to continue plotting my i-beams. i just want the holidays to come so that i have time to pause n breathe n sort out my design on my own coz now i am just running aimlessly to meet Maria's weekly design targets.

i hate doing things for the sake of doing it. everyone's running and so u run because u know you wouldn't lose out if everyone's doing it. so do you know what are you running for? is the road less travelled not a better option for you?

when you cant give them quality, confuse them with quantity. that was a good one by neodisheng when we were in year one. it kinda describe my current semester but sometimes i don even produce enough to confuse them. that sucks.

lishan brought up the topic on creativity a few days ago. the C word is getting bigger n bigger but if the education system doesnt catch up with it, creativity will always be limited to that A4 results slip. students who religiously design in a systematic step by step methodology and produce redundant models that looked impressive due to sheer quantity are still preferred generally. so how is this a creative approach to design? and u tell me u are grading us according to creativity?

then it hit me, oh. so thats e rigid education system ppl are talking about and went abroad to pursue the next big C. now i see.

it was a great discussion with lishan on the bus to NLB last wed. we kind of share the same sentiments. new friend found yay.

oh. i found yanyan in a corner of the simei dry market today and it is selling at only $1 (vs $1.75 at the Citylink's 7-11) and it isnt lao hong!! I was just telling sq how yanyan is going to be one of those "do you remember when you were young" thing, like how we look at those orange public coin phones now! lets cherish yanyan before it extinct!
