(cont'd from the awaited wedding I)
I mentioned that the wedding took place at Korean Memorial War and we had almost an hour to explore the place that day since we were early. Not any picture of the monumental architecture was taken because that would have probably bore 광취, who got so excited by the war crafts upon reaching the place! Its a man's game after all =X
Visitors were allowed in the tank! It was quite an experience to be inside the tank that was used during the Korean War!
I think the guys will like this place, no?
Anyway, we were lucky to witness a very unique korean wedding at the War Memorial! Not only were the couple dressed in traditional costumes, they actually paraded and the ceremony was opened to the public! 광취 said that such wedding was unconventional in Korea despite the attire!
We saw them parading around and thought it was a special programme organised by the government to showcase korean culture =X
Red and blue, colours of Korea! Everyone getting ready to march into the 'red carpet'! Notice the number of people 'recruited' for the wedding project! This wedding is definitely not cheap, lol!
Here we see the bride and the groom dressed in traditional Korean costumes for the King and the Queen! And no, Im not in any filming location. THIS IS FOR REAL!
All the ladies have to keep their hands perpendicular to their bodies at all times. Didn't it remind you of 大长今？
The guests were seated in 2 huge tentages flanked by the sides. Seriously, I doubt all of them could see what was happening in front!
The couple marching in with a troop of dancers behind! I told you the wedding is not cheap! LOL! BUT I LIKE!
I was really glad to have the opportunity to witness such a grand wedding in Korea! It was also a first time for 광취! YAY ^^
Wedding is such a joyous occasion and I wonder why conventionally it isnt as colourful as it should be. I WANT A KOREAN WEDDING! OR AT LEAST A WEDDING AS COLOURFUL AS THIS! to hell with white wedding laaaaaah! oops =x
